K-ETA (from September 1, 2022)

Starting from September 1, 2022, K-ETA will be required for ALL travelers entering the Republic of Korea including Jeju Island. And they must hold a K-ETA approval by applying on the K-ETA website (or mobile app) before their flight.

Assessment takes normally 72 hours. However, it can take more than 72 hours due to an unexpected increase of applications, the circumstances of the applicants etc.

Need to apply for K-ETA at least 2 weeks prior to departure.
K-ETA Fee is 10,000KRW and validity is 2 years.(multiple entry)

104 countries designated as visa-waiver countries (B-1) or visa-free entry countries (B-2)

: List of 8 Countries (Regions) Currently Suspended from K-ETA
Japan, Taiwan, Macau, Micronesia, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Tonga
